Fill the reservoir with 50% water to vinegar mixture, and turn it on.
My kitchen was smelling a bit strongly (I was fermenting some things on the counter), and so I left it to run for an hour or so while I did some other things around the house.
And when I came back, my kitchen had no smell! I get to clean my humidifier, and deodorize the room as well! It's now running in my family room, working its magic!
